Strangford Holiday Park is in a fantastic location on the shores of Strangford Lough.
The park is a perfect holiday retreat to relax and enjoy the wonderful surroundings as well as the ideal location for exploring the area. They have easy access to beautiful Strangford Lough and the lough-side villages of Strangford and Portaferry. The park is also excellently situated for exploring the Ards Peninsula, the Mourne Mountains and historic Down District.

It is 8 miles from Strangford to Ardglass, one of Northern Ireland’s three major fishing ports. Seven castles, a marina and golf course make Ardglass well worth a stop.
3 miles along the coast is the very elegant village of Killough with its charming sycamore lined street. Further along you come to the magnificent, award-winning blue flag beach of Tyrella.
Downpatrick is a busy town with many places of interest including The Saint Patrick Centre, the Grave of St Patrick next to the Down Cathedral, the County Gaol in Down County Museum and the Downpatrick Race Course. Heading east from Downpatrick and on the other side of the River Quoile you will find Saul where St Patrick built his first church in Ireland.
They currently do not have camping facilities on site only caravan hire and touring caravan pitches.
The holiday park extends over 8 acres alongside Strangford Lough and is only a 10-minute walk or very short drive to Strangford village.
On site they have over 60 static caravan holiday homes with many owners on the park for several years.
Children’s facilities including a multi-activity play area and outdoor fun and games are all part of the Strangford Holiday Park experience.
The park is open 12 months of the year although only at weekends during the period November – February.
